PACKSILOGAN
The Pokémon TCG MarketplacePack EV Calculator
What each pack is worth on average, using PH market data. Helps you spot when sealed product is priced below its statistical value — handy when you see a sale and wonder if it's worth ripping vs. just buying the chase card.
How to read this
EV (expected value) is the average return per pack across many openings — not a prediction for any single pack you crack. If a pack costs ₱200 and the EV is ₱180, you can expect about ₱180 back on average. Some packs return way more, some way less. This is an educated guess over a long enough run, not a guarantee.
Where it's useful: spotting sales worth chasing. Find a booster bundle on sale below its EV per pack? Over many bundles, you'd net positive on the math. Looking at an ETB you have sealed and wondering whether to rip it for the chase? If the EV is well below retail and you only care about one specific card, you're usually better off just buying that card directly.
Where it's not useful: predicting what's in the box you have in your hands. The variance on a single product is huge. EV is the average; your one pack is a sample of one.
Data sources: phase 1 prices are hand-curated snapshots from publicly visible Collectr / TCGPlayer reference data, attributed per result. Phase 2 replaces these with a rolling 60-day median of completed Packsilogan transactions as local sales accumulate.
