Abyss Eye Japan Release Day
Abyss Eye is the fifth Japanese Mega Evolution set, releasing on May 22nd and headlined by Mega Darkrai ex. Secret rares from the set are currently being posted to social media by fans ahead of its launch. This is the first set to introduce the newer Mega Evolutions from December's Mega Dimension DLC, including Mega Darkrai and Mega Zeraora. It also continues to introduce the new Mega Evolutions from the base Legends: Z-A game, including Mega Chandelure and Mega Excadrill. With this set's new Bronzor, the Saboteri 9-card illustration that started in Mega Evolution is getting closer to completion. All cards from Abyss Eye will be included in the English Pitch Black set, which releases on July 17th, and will again be a nearly 1:1 adaptation of the Japanese set, meaning it will be another small English set. https://www.pokebeach.com/2026/05/abyss-eye-secret-rares-revealed
